Dangerous 27 month old gelding

I worked with my yearling a few times before he was delivered to me. Now I have had him three days and he will not let me near him at all. He tries to bite if he can't he will kick you. Now he started stomping his foot at me when I go into his pen. He has another horse with him and that horse is all broke and she gives no problems. This my frist time working with this kind of horse I am very much a greenhorn when it comes to training. What needs to be done to get past his behavior.

There is a lot you can do to begin to get this horse compliant. They all depend on your skill level and experience. I simply cannot give you everything you need in an email. Also, there is a real element of risk involved. If you try something I suggest and you make a mistake, you can make things a lot worse quickly and get seriously injured yourself. I could coach you through this via the telephone, if you are willing to really go for it and learn it. I offer telephone coaching for about what a riding lesson costs. It is convenient, effective and readily available. Please consider this as a viable and good option for you. You need a lot more help than an email can provide. You might also look for a trainer in your area. One that is not abusive and does not go to dominate and punish your horse. But rather one who knows about gentle horse training, good equine leadership and the techniques for establishing trust and respect with the horse and not fear. Let me know....

Sincerely, Franklin
